After the internet revolution in 90’s, many investing/ trading tools and resources
previously can only be accessed by professional traders and money managers
! X9 T3 P* A; D# Y  ubecame available to ordinary people like us. More and more people are actively
$ B+ I/ Z" e! Q: n3 ]& hinvolved in managing their wealth, such as Self-directed RRSP, by on-line
! d" ^1 a' z7 N, A6 l+ Linvesting/ trading in stock markets.

Although investing/ trading is a very personal thing, the experiences of others may
help you to shorten your learning curve. The speakers of the workshop are no
experts or professional traders by any standard. The purpose of this workshop is
' {6 K! z' N$ o2 m! Y! S8 Rmainly to share and exchange the experiences and resources among people who are
0 t# g# ^% S8 [# a5 a* l6 ]$ ginterested in investing/ trading in stock markets.

The workshop will be divided into three segments:

1. Aspects Involved in Investing and Mutual Funds vs. ETFs – by Ben Shen
2. Fundamental Approach of Investing / Trading – by Norm Lam
3. Technical Approach of Investing / Trading – by Charles Wu
