The University of Western Ontario Faculty Association has formally requested Western\'s President to suspend shuttle service for students during the LTC strike.

The Faculty Association is one of the University\'s largest unions and represents more than 1500 professors and other staff.
; D5 T+ G) l) b9 WIt had earlier said its members would not cross picket lines if LTC union members decided to protest the shuttle service near campus -- a move which would have left classrooms and lecture halls virtually empty. " y# S1 O6 i. Y8 _5 U& S- m2 d
The union has since reversed its position and says, in the event of picket lines forming, it would advise its members to cross and report for work. |
